# Stakeholders

> How well AI presents your brand against the criteria each member of a buying committee cares about, segment by segment. Reading the map and running an analysis.

Stakeholders goes one level deeper than [Perception](/ai-search-intelligence/perception). Instead of asking how AI describes you in general, it asks how well you are presented against the specific criteria each buyer in a segment weighs a decision on. A general counsel and a head of IT ask AI different questions and get different shortlists. Stakeholders shows you which of those people you are strong for, which you are at risk with, and why.

## Before you start

Stakeholders is driven by the buying committee on each segment. Without a committee there is nothing to score. Set one up first: [Building the buying committee](/ai-search-intelligence/buying-committee).

## Reading the dashboard

Open **Stakeholders** under AI Search Intelligence and choose a segment from the selector.

**Alignment** answers "does AI think you're a good fit for this segment?". We show you whether it considers the industry, key use cases and organisation size / type to align with what AI considers to be your strengths.

### The stakeholder map

The stakeholder map helps you flag critical AI risks that can hold up or even kill a big deal.

Each of the criteria you have configured in this segment is analysed - we query AI to ask how strong it considers your brand to be in this regard, running sentiment analysis on the response to generate a score.

These scores are then mapped to what each buyer cares about, based on your configuration of your personas, to flag any critical risks. Scores will be lower where we see obvious red flags, particularly if they map to a buyer's "most important" criteria.

## Running an analysis

Analyses run on the workspace schedule, typically weekly (can vary depending on your plan). To run one now, click **Run analysis** at the top of the dashboard. The button is disabled while a run is in progress. Progress shows in **Settings > Jobs**.

Editing a committee (adding a criterion, changing who weighs what) marks completed analyses for re-scoring. The dashboard updates once the re-analysis finishes.

## Troubleshooting

* **No stakeholder data yet** with a prompt to go to settings. The selected segment has no buying committee. Add one under **Settings > Segments**.
* **First analysis in progress.** The run has been queued but not finished. Check Settings > Jobs; large committees take longer.
* **Scores changed after editing the committee.** Expected. Coverage and sentiment are recalculated against the new criteria.
* **A buyer you removed still shows.** The dashboard reflects the last completed analysis. Run again.
